Likely the best Zilla movie I've ever seen. Well driven plot kept us emotionally invested in the characters. The cast are likeable and nuanced characters with emotional depth and complexity. Godzilla as a Kaiju delivers HARD on its roots as a force of destruction. True to the OG Godzilla from helpless people on subway trains to analogies for real wartime fears and the lasting wounds of wartimes. One of the best movies I've ever seen. BEST SEEN IN THEATERS ON THE BIG SCREEN but an amazing showcase of Kaiju cinema by the legendary Toho Studios.
