A moving movie and a must see. Farha is a young girl whose dreams of going to school and becoming a teacher are shattered by Israeli soldiers bombing her village. The movie immerses you in the idyllic peace of a small village only to be abruptly shattered by the violent occupation. The movie focuses on Farha whose father locks her up in the pantry to protect her. We watch as she is transformed by the events she experiences. The director did a great job of depicting the impact of violence and hatred on the human soul without showing too much of the actual violence.
