Great narrator, great author! I felt like I was there. Told from both sides excellently.

Presents a great analogy of the HIV pandemic and how many were affected. Well written.

Not very believable. Ending was awful after all the trials by the main character.

For some reason I did not connect with this book. I had read The Searcher but still did not empathize with the characters. I enjoyed parts of it but not entirely.

Took a while to get into the book. The narrator was excellent particularly delving in his character and making the reader sympathetic.

Reminded me of P D James setting up all the suspects which were many! Main characters were likable and narrator's brogue put listeners in Wales.

While the plot was somewhat unbelievable, it was well written and the narrator was so good I couldn't put it down. Will definitely read another book by this author.

Wonderfully written, difficult subject to read but could not put down. Third book I've read by this author, looking forward to the next one!

Unlikable characters, unbelievable obsession, disliked ending.

Nowhere near as good as The Woman in the Window.
