I've read and thoroughly enjoyed everything written by Greg Iles, until Southern Man. This is a confusing and rambling story filled with just hate and division. The only things that are very clear is his hate for Trump or anything related to "Making America Great Again". I waited a long time to get the next part of the Penn Cage story and was very disappointed. Mr. Iles has lost a lot of loyal fans with this politically biased book that had the potential to be so good. I'll never pre-order another book by Greg Iles.
