Just finished bingeing this massive heap of trash. Don't bother with the 5-star reviews. Trust me - you'll never get the time back you spent, either reading them or watching this show.
Before Episode 10, I would have given a much better review. It's very socially aware in some respects, but misses the mark in so many ways that cannot be excused.
What is the point of this? The show was entirely devoid of fantasy, then this ending shows up from out of nowhere!?!
I don't care if it's an allegory, I don't care if it's supposed to be some kind of morality play - those usually have lessons, points, SOMETHING important to say. This show does none of this.
Best way to sum this up: This was written, directed, and filmed by smart people who got a little too clever. Not everything needs to be a thought piece. A comprehensible ending having literally anything to do with the rest of the series is the right way to finish a season.
This has been a wretched joke.
