What is maddening is that this might be about the 60s or today's workplace. The only difference is that there are a few more Fraskis it the lower level work place today, who truly think its normal to judge other women for everything EXCEPT competence.
Otherwise not much has changed.
The same mechanisms are STILL used to push women back, RUMORS and a DISMISSIVE tone. Or DERISION. If all fails, by using their beauty/physical characteristics to define them. Its been a quarter century now, we need to be able to do better. Simply because a) its not normal b) we truly need "all hands on deck" now to solve the problems facing the globe
