I dont understand why Chris Diamantopoulos was cast in this. His accent is terrible and he sounds like Voldemort. Despite that it's a fun film to watch if you're after something light hearted and easy to follow. It's quite predictable.

Awful. An insult to the original. Tank engines that can fly?! I cant believe this was produced and approved for tv.

The desire to redo old classics is a risky business. Sadly this didn't deliver. The story line was weak as were the characters which made for a forgettable film. There were good actors in here but I don't think this did them any favours. Emily Blunt is a good actress but her portrayal of Poppins made her appear arrogant and snooty. The music and songs weren't very inspiring either. Sorry!
