The job of the Press, is to hold those in authority to account. Is this still the case? Steven Speilbergs 'The Post' (2017) gives an interesting view of the relationship between the American government and its people. Set in the early 1970's it surley leads the current (2018/19) viewer to question the role of the Press, which apparently is to hold those in authority to account.
Is this still the case?
