Total let down. Hard to belong it’s the same director as Gladiator. The film focuses on too many episodes of Napoleon’s life, so it can inly dedicate a few minutes to each. Joaquim Phoenix is a great actor, but he depicts a weird Napoleon, doesn’t make sense. There is zero chemistry between Napoleon and Josephine in this movie. The battle of Waterloo is cool to watch, but that is all. The storyline, dialogue and script is just awful. Don’t waste your time watching

Really bad movie. The storyline is very weak, full of inconsistencies and totally unrealistic. Absolute waste of time.
