It's over-acted, it's so rushed that nothing makes sense, and it's a patchwork of well established sci-fi tropes, so much so you can almost recite the dialogue in real time. Oh and everything is in slow motion because it's a Zack Snyder joint. Pretty terrible. Shame, too. There are some great visuals and the production design is great. If they had put the brakes on the plot and the actors it could've been something. Oh, it's also a blatant rip off of Seven Samurai, and not in that good Dirty Dozen kind of way.
