Lately for the past few years i've been someone who has felt uninspired and uninterested in movies to the point where i don't bother going to the cinema unless i'm dragged there by a friend, but Rian Johnson has restored my faith in movies. I was so impressed with his work on The Last Jedi so i decided to see Knives Out. It surpassed all expections. I was completely engaged the whole time, i felt like i was experiencing everything unfold right along with the characters. Also, I think it was an important movie in todays world. There are so many people that cling to their racism and xenophobia and hate and people need to realize how it affects innocent people who are human just like us. THANK YOU Rian Johnson. Your passion and love that goes into your movies is SEEN and appreciated. Its so human and thats why it connects so well with me. I plan on seeing it again tomorrow.
