The acting was superb and the storyline was so gripping. A real romantic thriller that’s somehow also VERY grounded in reality. It is so well done and you’re continuously shifting your sympathies between characters. I’m surprised at how many reviews criticize it for being “too feminist.” Firstly, that’s an insane critique. Secondly, it has female empowerment undertones bc it depicts one very real set of challenges that women have to go through in the workplace. It’s wild that as soon as this is addressed at all films get branded as “too feminist.”
This is an exceptional film that truly has something to say. It gave me chills so many times and I was HOOKED. It’s one of those films that would be wild to rewatch, knowing where it will go. And I can’t wait to do that
