Ok to read on an airplane book. The writing seemed like it was trying to be too "cool" or "edgy". Made the characters unbelievable.

Ok fodder/bored sort of movie. In the mood for action? It will fill that slot ok although toward the end you pretty much want them to all shoot each other to end the movie early. The dialog is sort of silly and lets face it, rookie super cop in small town anywhere with a fortess jail will never happen. Sometimes when you have a huge amount of "suspension of belief" regarding a movie it takes away from the movie overall. Basically is is an ok movie with big unbelievable action scenes and a plot so full of holes you can drive a truck through them. But hey, bored and just want mindless fluff, it'll do.

Ĺike most action movies... Definitely not great but not totally bad. A meh sort of thing. Was it comedy? Was it action?? Like it did both, but not well in either case. Special effects were really cheesy with the explosions. It is OK for couch /popcorn action movie night. But that is about all.
