Amazing 2nd season, ties the story together perfectly and was extremely thought out in terms of plot. Actually makes me consider playing the game, regardless of the pure hatred that I feel at the mere mention of League. Animation was top notch, although a budget of around 250 mil is crazy.
This is entirely about the ending of Season 2:
I just believe the idea of what was effectively a god rethinking his own decisions would be contradictory of his own existence, would he not have the power to make his own beings in the perfect image he envisioned?
And if he wasn't able to create such beings, wouldn't it be better to look at this imperfection in his own being as something to improve, giving him much purpose to continue improving himself?
And if he did make creatures in his image and didn't like what he made, couldn't he just work experiment to make creatures he liked, or maybe just explore other dimensions for what he wanted, or work towards being able to do so?
The point I'm making here is just that there are better options for such a being, rather than wallowing in his own Sorrow. He could do so much better than to actively work against his own creation, couldn't he? It's like watching a child lash out at his own parents, telling them that they should've just gotten an abortion...
When you're done destroying one world, you don't stop and rethink your actions, you move on to the next one to complete your glorious purpose, your glorious will that is.
So many options, and yet he chose the worst one...
