Things I liked: the music, the costuming, the actual acting
Things I didn’t like: everything else. Here’s a few of my questions. Why isn’t Diana celebrated for her resourcefulness and creativity in the contest instead of forcibly stopped from winning because she didn’t do it exactly the right way? Why does Chris Pine come back in some other dude’s body? That is creepy and completely unnecessary. Why does he look hungover in the whole movie? Why does the decline of Diana’s powers seem to be sporadic? How is a fighter pilot that died in the 1940s so good at flying modern airplanes and driving modern cars? Why don’t the two kids just get out of the street when there’s a freaking huge convoy bearing down upon them? Why does Barbara get two wishes? Why does WW actually seem stronger after shedding the wings of her armor? Why doesn’t Lord undoing his wish undo everyone else’s? That’s a far more believable ending than trying to convince us that every single person in the world would renounce their wish because WW asked them to. Sigh. I had my hopes up after the first one, but this was disappointing.
