Hats off to Vikramaditya Motwane for creating a beautiful sweet story that has all human emotion elements combined within it. A story of passion, murder, love, discipline and revenge all intertwined in one. Amidst this, the touch of old bollywood is so peaceful and calm it transports you to a world apart.The cinematography is at its peak. Each and every scene is a cinematic art carefully crafted to fit the character arcs. Some scenes like that of jay and niloufer bonding under the rain is extremely beautiful. Every character is written extremely well with a common trait revealing among all. They all have this die hard energy to reach great heights and they all achieve to do so but their love and pride for success blinds them so much that it leads to their fall. Be it Jay khanna who becomes a rising star from a refugee or Niloufer who becomes an actress from a prostitute. Be it Sumitra who wants to destroy madan kumar and her drive for revenge is what causes the crash. These are my personal favorite characters and a special mention to aparshakti khurana who nails the role of madan kumar, wamika as niloufer and sid as jay khanna. As always aditi rao hydari was at her best nailing the role of an ambitious savage woman and captures the aura perfectly. If OTT is going in the direction of jubilee by even 10%, the future ain’t dull. Full stars to Jubilee!
