Dune is magnificent. I shouldn't have doubted Villeneuve & for my transgression he crafted half of a masterpiece. My only concern was that he wouldn't be allowed to make the other half. No longer. Part 2 was finally just green lit. Everything about this movie is spectacular. The cinematography reminds me of Ridley Scott. Hans Zimmer's musical score is one of his best & is near perfect. But, to me, the performances by nearly everyone are truly outstanding & that is what , more than anything else, truly elevates this movie into another level .
