I just happened upon this film.ans so glad i did ! Its a thoughtful , playful expansion on the " castaway" theme with 2 astronauts brought back to earth after 3 years adrift in space.The film doesn't rely on special effects or morose longing but on the often banal things that we take for granted but are the thing we call love . Friendship ,dependency, thoughtful compromise , effort, trust, stupid fun and a willingness to make someone smile.These things that we take for granted ,but that when nurtured make this thing called love something we just cant let go of. A truly wonderful film.

Sandler is superb, a lovely story across space that shows a film doesn't have to be tokenistic , ethnically sensitive or gender neutral , it just has to be good.

I enjoyed it, different and well acted.

A truly abysmal movie with some of the worst acting I've ever seen , not one of the actors would pass an audition to the Soprano's.A huge opportunity missed by dreadful screen writing , directing and even worse production and editing see's a fantastic series totally left short by what could and should have been an interesting resurrection of the franchise.Instead it is its death knoll.

It's not often a reworking of a film turns out better than the original, especially when that original is a cult classic but Dune is and does tell the Dune story in a much more realistic and stylish way whilst staying true to the storyline .The casting is superb and the special effects don't overpower the story. Highly recommended

Truly awful film , not withstanding the difficulty in buying into the character of Morbius due to Leto's self absorbed, Goth based approach to just about any role. The half hatched storyline must have been written by the same ZX Spectrum 48k that wrote the second rate film score. Another marvel character assassination that has consigned Morbius to the garlic cupboard.
