My main issue that I had with this film was the lack of personality and charisma from Robert as Bruce Wayne. I guess I’m am just used to imagining Bruce Wayne as this eccentric billionaire who is a really suave with women and an important public figure, but in this movie Bruce was more of just a quiet rich kid who completely keeps to himself. I thought the movie would have been a lot more interesting if Batman and Bruce Wayne would have had more contrasting personalities instead. Also, Batman didn’t really save anything. All the vans blew up, Gotham still flooded, and all the people that the riddler targeted still died. That was kinda lame. Visually the film was really impressive. Some the of shots of the city skyline at dusk were really beautiful and the some of the fight scenes with Batman were fun to watch. I did think the romance between Batman and cat woman was kind of dumb. There was no real emotional connection between the two but she would just kiss him for no real reason. I thought the riddler was really good.
