An easy, summer beach book kind of read. A little mystery, a little suspense, and a tiny bit of standard sex scandal. This story moves quickly and has an interesting mix of characters who are stereoptyped but definitely real in both small towns and larger communities. Character flaws play a huge role - politics, simple greed or out-of-bounds desire round out the "whys" behind their actions. You'll knock out this book in a few days. Not riviting or unique in approach, but a book that fits well if you're looking for escapism and nothing too stimulating.
