It’s a very good movie, and I enjoyed watching it immensely, despite what I believe is a glaring technical flaw. SPOILER ALERT: The movie hinges on recordings captured on cassette tapes hidden in the tailor’s shop. However, the cassette tape was not invented until 1963, whereas this movie takes place supposedly in 1956. This did not, however, diminish my enjoyment of the film in any way. Nonetheless, it’s a shame that a movie which is so meticulous in its period details would miss this.
