Blythe Masura

This book I feel like was totally out of character for Nicholas Sparks. It was a weird twist that I wasn’t expecting and not in a good way. Also, I feel like typically he does his research on the places and people and I feel like this book was lazily done. One of the main characters is from Chicago and he describes where she’s from as super safe with big homes and big yards. As far as safe where she is from is maybe one of the “safer” neighborhoods in Chicago but I wouldn’t let my child venture out alone there. I also know that you will NEVER find an area in Chicago with big yards. Possibly Sauganash but even that area the biggest yard is probably less than .25 acres.
