This story truly resonated with my heart. I experience alot of what the main character was in the film. It brought me to tears, gave me a good laugh, and was very beautifully portrayed. Just wish it was a longer film.

As an animal lover and someone who formally considered entering the military, this movie hit me right in the "feels." The vision they captured of this film truly showcased a beautiful bond between a struggling adult turned into war hero, and with the story being true, the movie made this story that much more special. Totally recommend.

I enjoyed Nicholas Cage's performance in this film. He was very endearing, seemed very into the moment, and the heroics of his character truly shines. The setting aspects of the movie was also a reason for the 5 stars, because from the rustic, yet minal environment the boys and Cage lived in, to the complexity of the creatures in terms of cosmetics and demeanor. Well done ✅
