I want the time spent watching this movie back! The film starts on a great note and promises more good stuff to come. But it makes a sudden left turn to an alternate reality that is confusing and difficult to follow. The imagery is filled with clutter and noise. When a plane crashes almost right in front of them, neither seems to care and that’s pretty much the whole movie. Caring about nothing, self-loathing, depression, loving then hating, and the gratuitous evil villain.
It’s trying to convey that in the end we all have value. It fails fabulously to make that point.
All of these 5 star reviews immediately bring to mind the whole bogus reviews debacle on Amazon. I couldn’t help noticing how many reviews are posted more than once. Leads me to opine that this is a deliberate effort to bump up the numbers.
