The first 4-6 episodes were compelling but then the writing went completely off the rails. I also thought the the headlong tumble into a rapid decline in death & destruction to “save Francis” was wholly unbelievable. Mary has judgement and sense and then it goes away. The plot twist with Bash’s legitimacy was a fatal flaw.
