This movie touched my heart 100 % agree it is An absolute gem of a film, regardless of what Rotten Tomatoes says. This film has what so many films of today are lacking .... a deep sense, heart and soul. In case you like a good European , heartfelt drama, please don’t hesitate and watch this movie, you will enjoy it.

It is an Exquisite Movie in many areas including but not limited to:acting, cinematography, music. Each minute was always captivating the viewer as well as sensuous , directed in Polanski manner. It may be the best movie I have seen not receiving an Oscar that year.Even with great movies (all of which I have seen, in the foreign language films nominated, it should have won in this category, for sure. It is a beautiful movie, a Master piece that every cinema lover have to see.
