I have it in the Vintage Classics edition. I managed to read about 3/4 and gave up. It just seems total rambling junk, witches and broomsticks out of Harry Potter but less well written, disjointed and plotless. It is disappointing because I approached it with high expectations, and sad because Bulgakov seems to have devoted so much time and effort to it - was he simply deluded? If someone can shed any light on it for me I should be grateful.
