Watch The Revenant if you want a good bear attack story. This movie has so many holes I can't recite them all. First it's the classic dumb white guy gets his GF into a survival situation for no reason, second black bears are not like brown or polar bears where they'll instinctively attack people and lastly the fact she stumbled hours and hours through the woods with no map or compass and somehow made it back exactly to her canoe to escape was just laughable. Honorable mention was the douchey tour guide guy who randomly shows up at the end as the one who finds her. What a bad movie lmao

It's a promo for Nights daughter's music career with a bad movie wrapped around it.

I'm left to ponder if my buddy is mad at me or something because that's the only reason I could think for him to tell me to watch this "movie".

One of my favorite horror movies of all time.

Really liked this movie. Not quite 5 stars due to the dumbness of some characters but great plot and twists throughout. Don't read the plot just watch the movie.

Wow that was easily one of the worst "horror" movies I've ever seen and I got hustled paying $20 to see it.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The 1 star reviews are either too used to modern day slash and jump scare flicks or just didn't understand the ending or what was being implied throughout the film. Spoilers I see people mocking the levitating witches and the "shape shifting" goat or the weird rabbit or the old lady "mishandling" the baby. The goat was/is/always was the devil, the witches fly or levitate by killing children (horrifying, but that's the point of the ending that the teen girl gives herself fully to the devil and laughs in the blood of her siblings) and the old witch killed the baby and then flew off and returned as the young seductress after being replenished. It's an authentic, creepy slow burn movie that I've watched several times over several years. But I'm also from NE and spend plenty of time in the woods so the movie tracks for me. It's possibly the only horror movie I watch religiously.

Really don't understand the terrible reviews. For an under the radar PA movie I really liked it. Was pretty freaky at points. Probably a 4 star movie but giving 5 for the haters.

Compared to most movies today this was an all time classic.

I literally could not stay awake watching this movie. Every time I woke up the leads were still sitting at a table talking. And again I'd fall asleep. I eventually gave up and went to bed.
