A Raisin in the Sun is a very well written play. It shows extreme emotions that we the readers can relate to. Hansberry brings very heavy topics all throughout the story. We are placed in a third place perspective watching all the characters conflicts and how they evolve, not only that but we aren’t given the internal thoughts of the characters but Lorraine Hansberry has a way with words that make us understand exactly what’s happening, and makes us feel like we’re in the play she can have us holding back tears feeling sympathy for the characters but then the next second she can have the reader laughing. I truly love this book and would recommend reading.
