i went to an early screening with my family and saw the film. ive noticed a lot of adults have said that it wasnt very funny, and that the puking was nasty and other things of the sort. I sort of agree however i can't validly use that as a reason to give this movie a low score because there were so many other parts that i enjoyed. additionally, it became very clear to me halfway through the movie that this was intended for children to watch, so seeing adults write bad reviews is weird to me because this movie wa very obviously not directed to your age audience. some movies are amazing at captivating a multitude of audiences, and i think that animation is quickly becoming beloved by all, but it's okay for a movie made for kids to truly be for kids. puke is hilarious to kids and i personally think i prefer other versions of tmnt, but im not at all mad at this and am personally excited for the sequel and im proud of seth rogan as im pretty sure this is one of his first animated (for kids) projects. so uh highly recc to any CHILDREN and all these whole entire adults need to stfu because its okay for some things to not be for you, so take your kids and let them have a good time.
