I saw this with my father in 1960. These guys were my heroes, and I wanted to be like all of them. Wallach was magnificent as Calvera. Rosenda Monteros was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen! I am now 71. I can watch this film again and again. Like the Seven Samurai, upon which this film is based, there will never be an equal. These were men of honor, a fact totally lost in the awful remake.
