I LOVED this movie!.....Works on so many levels, and triggers tons of memories for our own lives..The very idea of using that one room (And previous land location) is unique and original..Loved all the period touches, and real familial situations.Tearjerker ending is emotional and inspiring. I don't get the negative reviews....Film drives home - We are just passing through.

A worthy effort with some very realistic moments. Harsh criticism here not warranted.Locales,cars,language,general feel is authentic.Leo Rossi , Armand Assante excellent. Entertaining especially if you remember the Era and borough life then.
