Rusty

The first episode/prologue is genuinely interesting and grabs you, but then the series turns into nonsensical high school drama. I couldn't get past 4 episodes, it was so dull. The stakes are so low, they're in the ground. Gundams and Mobile Suits have gone from being terrifying necessities in wartime to children's toys used to settle petty squabbles. It's like if modern schools had duels with live pistols in the hallways. The tone is ridiculously inconsistent throughout the episodes, everyone is frantic and the music speeds up to tell you that you should be excited, but nothing is happening.
