🌎UR PLANET This Nature docuseries on Netflix is a must watch for every living human on earth 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲 Time to take a walk outside folks while staying indoors on the comfort of your couch I'm so enthralled by this series!!!!! A stunning portrayal of nature in its magnificent glory whilst carrying a sombre tone, reminding us of the ill effects of climate change and human activity on the diverse habitats. Its for both~ The defiers as well as the warriors, realisation will dawn on the former while the latter can arm up 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥 The series was shot in 60 countries over a period of 4yrs by a crew of 600, surely you can spare 50 mins a day watching their pet project 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 Breathtaking cinematography, great musical score and a suspensful, soothing narration laced with subtle wit by the legendary Sir David Attenborough I'll just give a few fun tidbits to entice you into watching it, seriously that's like my mini goal now 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘 MATRIARCHY RULES! Atleast when it comes to the elephant herds Plus they don't fuss over their veggies :D A very hungry elephant can eat about 200kg vegetation in a day. Such a dream come true, alas we aren't elephants The exotic male birds of the lush New Guinea jungle do elaborate dance forms to woo the females. Climate change is seriously impacting the diverse habitats from Grasslands, Rain forests, Desserts, High seas to the Frozen lands, but still their is HOPE if we wake up, sooner the better TRIVIA: After the Chernobyl disaster the affected zone was predicted to be uninhabitable for at least 20,000 years but in truth, vegetation and wild life was witnessed in a decade 🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙🐙 This series was a humbling experience for me - to realise we aren't the only inhabitants of this blue dot Their struggle for survival is indeed difficult and they are as ingenious as our best innovators, only difference being they don't care for any patents, you will know better when you actually watch it The old adage of "Truth is stranger than fiction" holds true here, looking at some of these mysterious creatures and the magic they create 🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅 And if you are in the mood for some Jazz and Rock n Roll, there is 'Dancing with the birds' Whimsical is the word.
