I would like the show if I hadn’t read the books. It’s like they made this show on the cliff notes version of the books. It’s a shame they called it virgin river. If they wanted to take so many liberties with the story and characters, they should have just made their own show and called it something else. I understand there will always be changes to fit television but these changes completely ruined the magic that is virgin river. And cmon, Brick Breelan and Doc Mullins are not the same. The same actor playing doc Mullins and playing the part exactly the same as brick was so disappointing.
