Go ask Fannie ❤️ It’s about a dysfunctional family, scattered all around the country trying to. Mostly on the east coast and in the DMV. Which is where I’m from so I really take joy in the local places referenced. But, it’s just a heart warming book and I resonate a lot with my own family members up and down relationships as well. I have the paper back which I’ve gifted to a friend. I re read a few times and it crosses my mind pretty frequently.
It’s a beautiful reminder that no person, nor family is perfect. The siblings consist of successful, working class and lower class you could say. It goes to show that no matter how much you have your $h1t together on paper, you can still have a lot of self work to do and growth.
Hope yall pick up a copy or look it up. I randomly found the book YEARS ago at a dollar tree. What a find it was! Happy reading and growing yall ❤️
