Really wanted to like this show but it's giving "capitalism is goals" and it misses the mark for me regarding true empowerment. The show is set in this weird, outdated mindset where women of color need to possess wealth to have value. Of course, representation is important but the characters couldn't really represent anyone because they had no depth, just money and "cool jobs". The characters are also just kind of mean to everyone, in general. I much prefer a show like Insecure. Some of the acting is really bad besides the people who play Tye and Quinn. The show could have been iconic but it's pretty boring and shallow imo.
