Eden

After watching Joker a couple years ago, I was not expecting a sequel. But, here it is! I was very skeptical at first, especially with social media saying how bad it was and that people were leaving the theaters mid film. I didn’t believe that the film could be as bad as it is marketed to be. And it is not at all! If anything, it is a wonderful film, beautifully filmed, great colors and edit and the acting was perfect too! I appreciate how the director has created an in depth understanding of his characters, giving more reason to like this film. Typically, a sequel, especially after a sell out of a first film, sucks! I loved how the weirdness of the singing feeds into the characters’ lunacy and their fantasy world. Overall, great, great film! I will be seeing it again before it leaves the theaters.
