As a fan of the handmaid's tale, its a must-read. I found the middle of the book to be quite interesting, however, the end was dull. I also thought that it seemed at times that this book was written by a much less experienced author than the handmaid's tale. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the handmaid's tale as it is a good read, however, it is not fantastic, and don't expect the same quality or style of writing as the handmaid's tale. The character's keep you enthralled. As one who has experience with the tv show and novel, you can't help but keep reading, but, the character's had so much more potential....
