Walked in blind, and I was hooked in the first minutes. Binged the show within the day! I liked it was a blend of modern and classic ninja movies with a touch of family drama. Love the grandma and kid duo, they were adorable. I usually don't like how kids are written but for this it is a pass, and the actor was adorable. The only character i disliked was Karen, I wished they wrote her better imo. The battle choreography was engaging, i've replayed scenes so many times while watching. I appreciate that during most fights there wasn't a loud upbeat track playing, so i felt the tension or emotional built up of the scene. The soundtrack is beautifully haunting, however their choice of song track interrupts the immersion of the show... It is not bad, but would have preferred it Japanese at least. The cinematography was amazing. The best. Hoepfully a second season is approved, because I want to know more of the lore and see more Shinobu action

I was surprised to find myself but smiling everytime Luffy's actor comes in, and everyone's interaction with one another. I can see why oda sensei gave his approval to each episodes. The detail they put in and changes they have made still feels like one piece, just in a different form!
