I was a late comer to The Shield, but I'm SO glad I got round to binge watching all 7 seasons. The Shield fully deserves to be talked about alongside Breaking Bad, The Sopranos or The Wire. There's great characters played by great actors, who consistently change your perspective of them. One minute you love them, one minute you hate them. Chiklis, Goggins, Karnes and C.C.H. Pounder are central right throughout all 7 seasons and they'll drag your emotions all over Los Angeles. Their story arcs and interactions with secondary and tertiary characters always keeps the tension high and feed the temptation to watch 'just one more episode'.

Every footballer should be made to watch this!
