I mean its an amazing book... A must read this novel. After reading the novel I literally realised how lucky and privileged I am to be a part of a democratic society (though its not Fully practiced in our country but I still have alot of liberties to do whatever I want to do, wherever I want to go and I have my very basic rights and i am very much empowered atleast to take some basic decisions of my life). This novel has left a huge impact on me and one more thing that I have learnt is that despite we all are living in the 21st century but in some parts of the world women are still suffering, women can't dream, they are totally dependent on the men even for their basic needs. This really needs to be changed, it has to change we all should be united as one against the people' who don't let the women walk shoulder to shoulder with men. The patriarchal society needs to end. And everyone in the society should be treated equally with dignity without any gender or any other discrimination. I wonder what these women and Afghanis must be going through again after Taliban has again got to the power in 2021. God give them power and strength to face these hooligans and come out of this
