A movie like this is meant to challenge the viewer not portray a tidy plot. The main character shows a responsible, generous, ingenious way of living. She portrays a range of emotions and we suffer with her at certain points. This movie shows us how native people live in modern times. Her treks to a city to sell her honey and her enjoyment of the meager purchases such as bananas and hair dye are relatable to most of us who have worked. I liked the movie because it gives a view into another culture and the main character is admirable in her struggles.
