This film is nothing short of AMAZING. It is billed as teen comedy but underneath it has a powerful message and addresses some very serious subjects e.g. Imposter syndrome, absent parents, judging people without knowing the full story etc. It addresses these subjects in a light hearted way. Yes it made me laugh and cry but most of all It made me ask, "am I living my authentic self". In my opinion every young person should watch this film and then have a discussion about it. It should be played in schools and require the students to write an essay about why what we think we want is not always the best thing for us.
