I gave this a well thought out review but it said there was an error posting it. Really ???? Basically, a mediocre production, some wonderful sets and costumes and acting , BUT, terrible writing and obviously biased towards socialism and making the point of the victims vs oppressors. It’s almost preachy. Very stereotypical characters, many without complexity, and predictable plots keep this series from coming anywhere close to “Downton Abbey “. Actors all good except “Calle” who was unattractive and unconvincing as the love interest of beautiful Nina. And no one aged in 20+ years. Unconvincing characters who didn’t get baggy eyes and bald heads. 👎🏻👎🏻 to the make-up department. Poor writing and the obvious political bias of this series killed it for me.
