Let's make a big deal about things that aren't (omg I lost my dog for a minute) to make this show so "emotional". But let's gloss over big things (our friend cheated with our other friend's wife who then killed himself and he is supposed to be the most meaningful person in all of our lives, but no biggie we got over it with a hilarious joke). Let's try to keep stacking emotional moments on top of emotional moments even if they are fake and unrealistic but let's not really resolve anything and just keep bringing more soap opera drama on board. Let's try to be This Is Us but not even come close to the writing or the real human emotions that a good show would be able to convey. Let's call this show A Million Little Things because that's the joke you see, we just throw a million little things at people and something will stick right? Acting is a little over the top and unrealistic also but I think the show itself calls for that. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because my wife likes it and I get to spend time with her while she watches the show...while I find it cathartic to write a Google review!
