Travis Hearn

The ending to this film filled me with nothing but sheer anger and disappointment. It starts out quite interesting, with seedlings of side plots and double-crossing among the main cast, only for it all to be totally flushed away with ZERO answers to any of the questions made earlier on. The entire film is slowly rising tension with no peak action or breaking point, there's elements introduced at the very start which play no significant part until the final scenes (and even then they're poorly implemented) and almost none of the side plots come to a conclusion of any sort. The camerawork and scene order is dubious at best, the whole thing exudes "ameteur", with jarring and rapid jumps between plot lines around the hour and a half mark. two stars is honestly a generous average considering the borderline rage the flaccid ending left me feeling, I sincerely hope this writer-director keeps the rest of next works to himself 🙏
