THE BEST SERIES I’ve ever watched! The cast, the screenplay, direction, dialogues everything was perfect! An absolute treasure for those who love history & documentaries! I love how it taps into every human emotion possible! Had me in tears by the end of the last ep! Just loved it!! 11/10 recommend it!

I really don’t get why this show gets so much hate! As someone who loves LOTR world I’d absolutely recommend this! S1 the first 3 episodes were a slow burn (sometimes it felt like watching 3 dif shows. Lol. But hang in there!) and I get that they were setting the pace of the story line. But ep 4 onwards it was binge worthy! The S2 is even better! If anything it makes you want to read the books too (which is a good thing). For those complaining that it’s not as good as the books - that’s the case with all adaptations, books are always far better and the screenplay writers tries their best to bring it as close to the original script as possible! Considering the LOTR universe is vast it’s not an easy task to put it together for a concise visual format. Cast - 3.9/4 (some of them could have been casted better and others grow on you) CGI - 4.5/5 Writing/Direction/Screenplay- 4/5 Costumes/Set - 4.8/5 Music - 4/5 Overall - 4/5
