While the philosophy of extreme ownership is a valuable lesson, this book focuses more on stroking the egos of the authors by spending more time telling their war stories than expanding on the philosophy and examples of it.
Great idea. Trash book. Unless you love to hear about them killing radical islamists and denouncing their existence to the term “bad guys” like we’re playing with army men in a sand box. Extreme ownership as a global imperialist means we have the responsibility to restructure their society to remove the expansion of radicalism, not just kill the seedlings once they reach a certain height.
