I'm a big Diane Keaton fan. Have never seen a movie of hers that I didn't like, but this is perhaps one of the worst movies I've ever seen. She didn't have much to work with. The dialogue is badly written; the storyline too reminiscent of so many other movies: Freaky Friday, Big, 13 Going on 30. Every actor looked awkward, trying so hard to pull off their terrible lines. I wanted to laugh, not because the movie was funny but because the premise was so ridiculously unbelievable: a thirty-something woman wishes she was seventy. Though it's only an hour and a half long, I was painfully aware of every minute that passed. I could hardly wait for it to end. Three people actually got up and walked out. I've never seen that before. The only way you might enjoy this movie is if you make a drinking game out of it: take a shot every time someone says, "Old Gal." Please, someone, give Keaton a decent movie to star in.
